Seoul Selects 20 High-Quality Accommodations for ‘2024 Best Seoul Stay’

  • 20 outstanding establishments chosen among the “Seoul Stay” urban B&Bs for foreign tourists and hanok experience businesses

The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) and the Seoul Tourism Organization (STO) have newly selected 20 high-quality accommodations for the “2024 Best Seoul Stay” to widely introduce unique and charming lodging options in Seoul to international tourists.

* “Seoul Stayseoul stay” is a representative accommodation brand for alternative accommodation businesses (urban B&B for foreign tourists and hanok experience business) registered in Seoul.

A total of 83 places applied for the “2024 Best Seoul Stay” through an open recruitment process. After document evaluations and on-site evaluations by experts, 20 places were finally selected.

To promote sustainable tourism in Seoul and encourage the operation of high-quality accommodations, the SMG included criteria such as noise management and waste disposal plans, fire insurance enrollment, and facility hygiene management in the selection process.

This year, 12 urban B&Bs for foreign tourists and 8 hanok experience businesses have been chosen as Best Seoul Stay locations. Information about the selected accommodations, including “Sajeogin,” where guests can experience a tranquil hanok in the heart of the city, and “House Together in Heukseok B&B,” which offers a host/home experience, can be found on the official website (https://stay.visitseoul.net/guide).
