This place is famous eve when it was in Seongbuk-dong. If you do not make a reservation, it is hard to eat. Chicken don’t come out right when you order at the restaurant, so reservation call is required.

Pork Belly, Do you know KBBQ? Seongbuk-chun stream (The name of the waterway from the subway station) has variety of restaurants where you can fully enjoy KBBQ(Korean grilled port belly (Samgyeopsal-gui.)) Most of the restaurants on both sides of Seongbuk-chun. Personal tastes may differ, here's our recommendation.

There are two types of ssambap here, one is jeyuk (pork with red pepper paste) and the other is ureongssambap.

This restaurant makes tofu by hand on the premises every day twice.
Saturdays are regularly off.

It looks better to go but don’t go here between 11:30 and 12:30 because very crowded lunchtime.
For lunch, better to go at 11:00 or after 12:50.Stone pot rice is provided. do not touch it with your hands(this container is very hot).
“how to make nurungji(scorched rice) bob”– scoup all the rice out of the hot pot (leave nurunggi in the bottom). and pour hot water to the stone pot. eat the nurungji bob after enjoying the main meals.
These are 3 main items on the menu.
1. 청국장 – Cheonggukjang is a type of soybean paste that is made by cooking the beans till they are tender and then fermenting them in a warm place. Because of its peculiar taste, it does not appeal to everyone, but it is highly nutritious and easily digestible.
2. 해물순두부 – “haemulsundubu” It contains seafood and is spicy.
3. 옛날순두부 – “yesnalsundubu” Eat white tofu with soy sauce.

It’s good to open early in the morning, and it eases the stomach after drinking. It’s good because the price is cheap. The bowl is hot so be careful. The way to eat it is to give them a raw egg, so add it to the hot soup and season with salted shrimp.

1 안동할매청국장(Andong Halmae Cheonggukjang)
The smell is a bit difficult here. However, if you want to know the real state of soybean paste, it is worth a try. It is a famous food that sick people eat and feel better.
