The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) and the Seoul Tourism Organization (STO) have newly selected 20 high-quality accommodations for the “2024 Best Seoul Stay” to widely introduce unique and charming lodging options in Seoul to international tourists.

* “Seoul Stay” is a representative accommodation brand for alternative accommodation businesses (urban B&B for foreign tourists and hanok experience business) registered in Seoul.

A total of 83 places applied for the “2024 Best Seoul Stay” through an open recruitment process. After document evaluations and on-site evaluations by experts, 20 places were finally selected.

To promote sustainable tourism in Seoul and encourage the operation of high-quality accommodations, the SMG included criteria such as noise management and waste disposal plans, fire insurance enrollment, and facility hygiene management in the selection process.

This year, 12 urban B&Bs for foreign tourists and 8 hanok experience businesses have been chosen as Best Seoul Stay locations.
